How to convert folder to TAR.XZ file?

Below are step by step instructions for converting a folder online using ezyZip.

  1. Select folder to convert
    Click "Select folder to convert" to bring up the folder chooser Convert Folder to TAR.XZ
  2. (Optional) Set compression level
    (Optional) Set the desired compression level by clicking the down arrow next to "Create TAR.XZ File". This will only work with archive formats that support compression.
  3. Create TAR.XZ archive
    Click "Create TAR.XZ File". It will start creating the TAR.XZ archive from your folder contents.

    Once all the files are processed, the "Save TAR.XZ File" button will appear.

  4. Save your archive
    Click "Save TAR.XZ File" to save the folder archive to your selected destination folder.
