- To add files to your iso archive, you have two options:
- Click "Select files to archive" to open the file chooser
- Drag and drop files directly onto ezyZip
- (Optional) Set the desired compression level by clicking the down arrow next to "Create ISO File" button.
- Click "Create ISO File". It will start compressing the files.
- Click "Save ISO File" to save the archive to selected destination folder.
How do I convert Dropbox files to iso?
- Click on the Dropbox logo () in the file selector button.
- The Dropbox file chooser will appear. You will need to authorise access to ezyZip the first time.
- Once you have selected the file(s), they will appear in the listing. Follow the instructions above to compress the files.
- To save the resulting ISO file to Dropbox, click on "Dropbox" dropdown under the "Save ISO File" button. This will require authorisation the first time you run it.
The file will be stored in /Apps/ezyZip folder.

What is an iso file?
An ISO file (derived from ISO 9660) is a disk image format that represents an exact copy of an optical disc such as a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray. Unlike other archive formats, ISO files preserve the exact structure and bootability of optical discs, making them perfect for distributing operating systems, software collections, and creating backup copies of optical media.
ISO files are widely supported across different platforms and can be mounted as virtual drives or burned to physical media. They maintain the original discs file system structure and can include multiple file systems (such as ISO 9660, Joliet, or UDF) for better cross-platform compatibility. This format is essential for software distribution, operating system installation, and creating exact copies of optical media. When creating ISO archives with ezyZip, date information is not included and empty directories are not added to the resulting archive file.
